I just found a great resume guide for college students wanting to go into creative industries for their summer jobs. Maybe it's a bit late. There's always next year.
Here that is.
I kind of wish that I had read this before applying places.
Ah, who am I kidding? I did okay without it.

Good tips. Now where is the guide that teaches you how to NOT fuck up a job interview? Because that's really the tricky part.
haha, seeeriously. or, at the very least, how not to fuck up phone interviews. those things are the devil.
Ugh. Phone interviews are the WORST. But you know what's even worse than a standard phone interview? A phone interview from a recuriting agency.
I think the trick to acing an interview is to lie. Lie like your life depends on it, because your future employment probably does. Honesty gets you absolutely nowhere. You've got to be able to live the lie too. I definitely should have taken more classes in lying and cheating... you know, like majored in business or something.
recruiting agencies do phone interviews now? That's godawful. I worked for one once, but I had an in-person meeting, not an interview.
Also, in interviews, I think the trick is not to lie, but to glorify the truth. I'm sure you can take a class in that... right?
